Welcome To Trafford Resources Ltd
A Perth-based mineral exploration company which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2006
Recent developments have strengthened Trafford's multi-commodity growth model. When listing in 2006, Trafford's primary focus was exploring for Iron Oxide, Copper, Gold and Uranium (IOCGU) deposits at the Wilcherry Hill Project in South Australia's Gawler Craton. Trafford discovered large quantities of high grade magnetite iron and as a result floated IronClad Mining in 2007 as a development vehicle to establish iron ore operations. The unfolding Wilcherry Hill iron ore project, an 80:20 joint venture between IronClad Mining and Trafford Resources, is set to become one of Trafford's major development arms as it progresses closer to production.
Trafford achieved a successful return on investment when a $1.4 million investment in Robust Resources was turned into a liquid asset of approximately $17 million, with millions returned in dividends to shareholders.
An opportunity to embrace Trafford's growth strategy appeared in 2012 and Trafford took a significant interest in a high grade gold project in Brazil via its investment in Orinoco Resources Ltd.
Other projects Trafford are actively working on include another South Australian joint venture, with Kingsgate around the Challenger Mine. Trafford now controls 5,653km2 of highly prospective exploration licences on South Australia's Gawler Craton, following the purchase of Southern Gold's 51% share in the Challenger joint venture with Dominion Gold Operations (a 100% owned subsidiary of Kingsgate Consolidated).
Trafford is also developing the potential of its Telephone Dam project and the Black Hill prospect. Results from a soil survey completed at Black Hill identified a number of discrete silver, gold and copper geochemical anomalies.
A joint venture with Independence Group, provides Trafford the iron ore rights to two projects north-west of Geraldton and Trafford geologists have confirmed there is outcropping hematite of +60%Fe over a larger area of Twin Peaks and Moorarie.
Trafford is spreading its wings, moving the company in different directions and increasing cash flow into the company, remaining an exploration company, growing in size over time.
