Telephone Dam Lead-Zinc-Silver Project
The lead, zinc and silver project is in the North Eastern area of the Wilcherry Hill tenement (EL4162) and is one of six Lead, Zinc and Silver prospects identified by Trafford Resources within the area. The project is a major focus of exploration, with Trafford Resources completing three drilling programs at the prospect in recent years for a total of 4800 metres. Significant mineralisation intersected during these programs includes 92m @ 2.28% lead + zinc, with 51 g/t silver from 60 metres in hole 09TDRC008. This result included 1m @ 51.4% Lead + Zinc with750g/t Silver.

Mineralisation at Telephone Dam begins from surface and continues to a depth of at least 500m along a predictable trend that dips to the west. The deposit is thought to be similar to the epigenetic base metals deposit located at the nearby Menninnie Dam, which has a current resource of 7.7Mt @ 3.1% zinc, 2.6% lead and 27g/t Ag. The strike extent of the deposit is 1500m with potential existing both at depth and along strike. This, coupled with the location of the Port Pirie lead smelter just 240km from Telephone Dam, makes the project of huge importance for Trafford Resources.
